Thanks Dan for trying to help SplitHo0f... but one of the issues calguns is currently having is with photos hosted on their server. Your recommended procedure would normally work, but not at the moment.

It is best to upload images elsewhere, to a photo hosting site like IMGUR or Photobucket or... there are several... then grab the host URL and paste it here between [IMG] ... [/IMG] tags.

CANNON... Yes, a takedown usually brings another 100 bucks or so.

A good article on Winchester 9422

completed auctions tab on gunbroker (must be logged in) should help narrow down a value by looking at sold auctions of rifles similar to yours.

looks like there is quite a range depending on exact model, year, condition, etc. but all bringing decent $

        PENNY! WINCHESTER MODEL 9422, .22 S,L,LR, W/ 20" BARREL!! SOLD $830

        Winchester 9422 * XTR CLASSIC * 22 S-L-LR BORN 1986 SATIN FINISHED SOLD $1199

this early model magnum sold locally (LSB in Simi) for what appears to be good price

Winchester Model 9422M 9422-M .22 WMR Magnum Lever Action Rifle, MFD 1975 SOLD $1225
I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

P.S. No box or papers. Just a rifle.
I think they're all take down..I could be wrong. Mine is.

I wouldn't go lower then 1k for it. I traded about $600.00 in AR parts for mine in mint condition 5 years ago. No box but the paperwork was in the case.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Ah. I see. So it works going forward from the calguns' reset. Thanks!

I still am not seeing *previously-calguns'-hosted* photos, though, such as the images that were posted in the first post of this thread.

I'll venture that, eventually, we might have to re-host those images then insert their new URLs in Edit.

Thanks again, Dan. You are the man! (and I still admire the brass! Thanks for that, again. Once my trailer project's interior is finished, I can free up my work bench and get some .45 Colt loaded up).

              Thanks guys,

I'm thinking I'll price it at 1K and toss in a brick of 22.

              Does that seem fair?

I think its fare but you can always cut the price if it doesn't sale at $1350.00

I'd feel guilty as the buyer has to come out to the Antelope Valley to do the transfer.

Hopefully I'll get it posted in the for sale section in a day or two.

Again, thank you everyone. I appreciate your help.

                    You bet....

1k and some ammo is a good price. Anyone would be lucky to have it.

I have the .22 magnum 9422M. It outshoots bolt action .22 magnums with the lighter, faster bullets. It likes the Winchester Supreme ammo best. My son has shot several jack rabbits with the green CCI ammo.

Good news on putting up some .45 Colt. Very glad to have helped and one of these days I'm going to make road trip down to see you and the rest of the Mojave Lever Crew. It will have to be a bit cooler than it is now though.

You ain't kidding Dan! Our deserts are HOT right now. I have a bunch of .45 Colt handloads to shoot, but, I'll wait out the heat. Fall in the desert isn't that far off. Would be great to have you come down for a shoot.

I might stop and shoot a few rounds on the way up to Mammoth on Thursday. Its actually going to be pretty nice the rest of the week.

                              Forum rules question.

I will soon be posting three Marlin and maybe a Winchester Lever actions of various calibers along with a pair of Colt 2nd Gen. Colt SAA's. in 38/357 matching in appearance but 300 or so numbers apart.

I'd like to offer them to the Crew first at a discount as you have to come to the Antelope Valley to transfer. Can't drive very far. Single item or a discounted package deal.

Is there a way to do that and not step on Kestrylls talons or is my idea offensive to the group?

I can see that bergmen's post has an attachment, but when you try and open it all you get is a black screen and a single white pixel.

Hosting pictures on CG so that they can be seen has not been fixed.
