Thanks brother's....So this is #4 1911 for me...I have some 0-20 wt Mobil 1 that I have use on them in the past. It looks dry because I cleaned it again. This is my first officer model though.

Tom, I got it a few weeks ago. I just haven't had time to get it out. I just ran a few mags through it yesterday.

FWIW, I really like Slip 2000 EWL and EWG. It's pretty much all I use these days as far as lube goes. It's just a little costly ...

I just bought 3qts of Mobil 1 V-Twin for my chop. It's a lot costly these days. I had that 0-20 left over from that little Honda Insight I had for a few years.

A few of the MLC have attended this event in the past and can vouch for the food and the location....I will be in the kitchen, breading fish. We serve over 1000 meals that day.
Man, the 76th Annual Fish Fry was another hit! Everything they served up was gooood! Food was fantastic, cold beer and other refreshments available, fine country band laying down some good music. And in the shade, very comfortable. Didn't get a chance to talk to Rick, didn't see him, but, I'm sure he was busy. Excellent turnout. met some other folks to jabber with.
Yeah, I'd say pennwife and I had a good time. Already looking forward to next year. Did I mention the food was awesome?

Sounds like you had a good time...it had to be more fun then working on a dryer in a 100 degree garage.

Mark, I feel your pain. Remember that stinking garbage disposal last year of mine? POS!! Chris didn't make it and I couldn't find Rick, as I"m sure he was around, just busy. It's a good time the club puts on. Maybe you can join us next time. Think you'd like it. Dryer fixed?

Not yet, brother. By the time I tested all of the components it was too late to go to the parts house, and they're closed today. I've had this dryer a long time and I've had it apart a few times. It's easy for me to work on and you know the crap they make now is worse.

Yeah, I was pretty busy. Only 4 of us breading fish this year ( my usual job for the last few years) so I didn't get out of the kitchen much. I did get out a couple times and took a look around, but there were a lot of people. I think we served about 1075 dinners. I barely saw my wife and in-laws. I won a 12 volt auto chest cooler in the raffle but didn't even know that until packing up to leave and my wife let me know.

Please - next time come by the kitchen and say hello! Not the fry shack but in the main clubhouse by the barbecues. Thanks for coming!

The bright spot is that I felt pretty good all day after my pancreas issues of last fall and winter. I do have a small hernia by the incision that needs to be patched, but otherwise I am feeling fine. I am still down about 50 pounds from a year ago, though the hernia is like a balloon in my gut area.

KB, looking thru some older posts here, I remembered this one. Do you still have that "Jawbone Cyn. Store sticker? Maybe we could make some sort of trade? Great place to get gas and a beer when I was dirt biking.
