if russia attacked turkey from the rear - would greece help?

    sorry, had to do it

visiting ancient greece is on my list of things to do when I retire

been all over europe and asia and seen a lot of ruins, never get tired of the history

seeing this in person kinda stands out in my memories

I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

      OK, now that's funny
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

In fact, here's what I've got going on today.

Oh man! That's looks so good...do you do any trimming on your briskets?

I'm gonna put a pork shoulder on my pellet grill tomorrow.

I usually trim quite a bit of fat off, but on this one I left the fat cap thicker than I have in the past. I didn't really cut any fat out of the center (between the fat and the lean pieces), like I usually do.

I trimmed off a couple of pieces to make it fit the grill better, so it doesn't hang directly over the coals.

The cooking instructions that I follow came from this video.
Unlike everybody else, it recommends to cook it fat side down, which is why it may look like I trimmed the fat cap off on mine.

Can't wait to see pictures of your finished .

I was quite impressed with your original post and write up.

All I can say about mine was that I didn't have to drive 27 hours (or whatever it was) each way to get mine.

Bob, is it a Costco Brisket?

They always have "Prime" brisket at a MUCH better price then our local grocery stores Choice ...

Yep, it's a Costco Prime brisket.
A friend lives in Ventura and he shops at the Oxnard Costco.
It seems the Prime brisket at the Oxnard Costco is usually $1/lb less than the Costcos near me (I've called them to confirm this).
He'll pick one up for me when he see the price is right, and since he travels through the SFV often enough for work, it gets delivered.

Yeah, but....... you missed visiting some true garden spots such as Encino, NM.

In other news, look what I found at a local consignment spot, for $250:

I like that garden spot better than the self fertilizing ones that are cropping up in the valley.

Nice consignment find. What's the caliber?
Let us know how it shoots.

Edit: BTW, excellent char on those ribs.
