Yeah, they claim the triggers should be between 4-7 pounds. I think I measured 8.5. I'm gonna remove the scope and see what it will do with the iron sights. Just one more trip and then I'll send it back.

There is a nice High Standard .357 revolver, made by and identical to Dan Wesson revolvers in Carol Watson's Auction so far going for less than $300...but unavailable to CA residents! Several Hand Ejector .44 SPLs, .38-44s and pre-Model 27 .357s as well as a bunch of Colts, Winchesters, etc. I sure would love that High Standard/Dan Wesson!

800 lots. Featuring: Large variety of antique and modern firearms, edged weapons; collection of S&W revolvers; Winchesters; Colts; military rifles and pistols from around the world; collectible/sporti

bossman, a change of plans. Not going to Sand crk, instead, heading over outside of Swan Valley in the Caribou Range. We shall see whats shakin'.

There is a Marlin 1936 flat bolt .30-30 - I wonder what it will finally sell for?

Is there an item number or something that makes it easy to find? Haven't succeeded in navigating that site yet.

that's what you call a drive by mystery lead

so I'll bite - have a couple minutes waiting for my boy's team to take the field

last archived 'marlin 336' ended in sept and nothing listed currently at orange coast

nothing on gunbroker current or completed either that matches description

so either buy the damn thing and tell us about it later or share the link so someone else can
I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

Why not follow the link I posted - here it is again - it is not on Gunbroker. Carol Watson's Orange Coast Auctions I have purchased from them before...they are in Orange County so you can go there and DROS it if you are local.

Found it, thanks! Finish looks pretty rough, covered with small pits on the receiver and tang. Personally, I don't see it as being worth more than the opening bid ($500).

I'm hip, they're 20 min from my house and easy to work with, check their reviews..

looks like I typo'd 336 instead of 1936 - I was in a football stadium getting my boy ready so my bad

point is if your looking at something you really want to share, why not just paste the link instead of going around the block which obviously stumped the poster above me

My original post with the link was about all the guns they have for sale - Triple lock S&Ws, Winchesters, Colts, etc. I figured someone could figure out the "search catalog" button just as I did.

                          Don't forget the 12 - 18.5% buyers premium.

I didn't see on their site and assume no, but do they ship C&R to CA 03/coe holders?

On C&R firearms, you are exempt of the waiting period if you hold an 03 and COE but the signature and thumbprint on the DROS has to be done in person.
It's not really possible for them to ship to you as the shipping assumes you are NOT doing the DROS in person and carrying out the guns in person.
You can have them ship to an FFL near you who does the in-person DROS for you.

Eh? Can 03/coe holders no longer purchase c&r long guns from private parties without going through a gun store/print/dros?

                              Are you saying that's changed?

We used to hunt just east of Swan Valley, in the mountains just west of Alpine. 5 miles in with heavy packs uphill, stay a few days, then 5 miles out with even heavier packs if we were lucky.

Don't do that any more - it wore me out the last time.
