Hornady Critical Defense: FTF on the last round of each mag.
    FMJ: 0 issues.
    What followers are you using?

So far I am having good luck with Gold Dots 124GR +P through my G19 w/ 9mm3 followers. I have a few more boxes of GDots to cycle though, hopefully it's GTG. I can't get my hands on any HST so I can't chime in.

I left his question unanswered. It was more of a troll question than anything...

Yes Glock took care of me too... I'm surprised it isn't a sticky either... Most won't know of this problem until it arises and most don't even shot their HD ammo either due to a financial reason or time... I waited several weeks to hit the range with it fully loaded bedside thinking it would go bang when I pulled the trigger...

I have past the 200 rounds mark through my G19, and here is my results with the stock followers.

Winchester round nose - No failures, or other complications

Fiochii hollow points (115gr, and 147gr) - no problems

Rem. Golden Sabre - The round got stuck on the feed ramp when trying to chamber.

Winchester hollow points - No problems.
        __________________________________________________ __

I THINK the only reason why the round got stuck with the Golden Sabre was because I only had one round in the mag and was trying to chamber it. I do not think the spring in the mag was under enough tension to push the round up fast enough before the slide spring starting coming forward again. So, when I put six rounds in, and 10 rounds in, I never had a problem with Golden Sabre after that.
So ultimately, after 200 rounds of break in, My G19 chambers with no issues. However, I am still going to get those other followers. Why not, they are free.

Glock 19 and 17, I have never had a problem with the followers with any ammo. But I did get the 9mm 3'follower in the the mail like 5 mins ago and will be switching over.

Have you tried this from the OP?

IF YOU HAVE THE SUSPECT 2183 FOLLOWERS TRY THIS

              To test out the follower
              - pull back the slide and lock it into the rear
              - inserted (1) round in the mag and load it into your G19
              - release the slide with the slide release ONLY
              - if it fed try it several times to clarify that your follower is working properly

I replicated the issue by doing the above, however I did not use the slide release and rather racked the slide. I'll try it with the slide release.

I took my Glock to my local one stop shop gun shop (the Gun Locker) and had him do this. He never heard of the 2183 follower issue. So I gave him a few rounds of my Gold Dots and my G19 with the (3) mags w/ the 2183 followers. He went to the back to try the "test" and came back a few minutes later.

He was amazed how often the round got stuck on the ramp and how much different the 9mm3 looked compared to the 2183....

Needless to say, he said that he'll swap out the 2183 followers for me when they come in...

I just tried to call... their regular hours end at 4:30 EST. I'll have to try back tomorrow.

I don't recall having any issues when I fired the Gold Dot in my G19, but it does jam with the test mentioned above. I plan on having them send me the followers for my four mags regardless.

I had the same problems with my glock 19 and 17 gen 3...the 2813 followers caused FTF`s regardless of what ammo I used. I switched to the 9mm3 followers...the FTF`s went away..glock gave them to me for free too.

On your mags with 9mm3 followers, if you load 10 HP's and then use your thumb to manually eject the rounds at a constant pace, do any of them get stuck on the lip of the mag?

On the 2183, the last round got stuck on the bottom of the feed ramp, not on the mag. When I tried the 9mm3's in two of my mags, the middle rounds (4-6) got stuck on the lip of the mag on both mags (Federal HST). Just wanted to make sure you weren't encountering that.

i usually run speer gold dots, remington sabre or winchester PX1 defender in 124 gr +p...no problems with FTF`s regardless of ammo count....I run +p ammo only...with the exception of target 115 gr. winchester white box or federal premium for range use....i`m tempted to try the federal HST in 124 gr. +p...and see how they perform....I haven`t tried 147 gr. ammo...I feel 124 gr. +p is more than good enough to get the job done.....diese...what grain ammo do you run?
