Since the glock 10 round magazines have so much trouble feeding HP ammo would there be any benefit to loading a 147 ball ammo instead?

I took mine out, which is new too, and it did not do this once with Golden Sabre. It did do it with some FMJ reloads I was using. Also, Its like someone else said, Sometimes pistols do this with certain hollow points - so try something different. I need to add, your magazines could need some more breaking in. After 200 rounds, my Glock handled everything with no problem. The magazines were much easier to load as well. My Karh only likes Hornady; It does not chamber the first round of Golden Sabre very easily. My Ruger p95, and Glock take the Golden Sabre with no problems! My revolver has no issues with anything . I guess revolvers are the way to go.

I fed over 200rds of American Eagle 115gr FMJ/hardball ammo with no problems yesterday with the 2183 follower, BUT only took 9rds of HP for the failure to appear...

It's all about the bullet tip...

How did you get the picture?

Did the standard immediate reaction malfunction clearance drill not work??
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
          (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

            Hey there, from glock talk!

If you live near San Bernardino, I have a spare 9mm6 follower that I could spare. PM if you're interested

I would try the follower fixes others have tried.

"How did you get the picture?

Look at the second sentence. Meaning, Tap, Rack & Bang.

How does determining the method of image capture have anything to do with Clearing a failure?
I assume OP took a picture to show an example of the failures he's experiencing.
                    What am I not getting?

Replacing the followers solved the same problem on my 19 for me.

I have the same issue with my 19 and 2183 followers using both Gold Dot and HSTs. I have shot over 1000 rounds of FMJ without a hitch. Called Glock and new followers are on the way.

Thanks for posting this information! It should be a "sticky" for all Glock 19 owners.

It's an Evo 9 with a 2.3 Stroker making 550hp on low boost, full aero, and suspension galore...

I left his question unanswered. It was more of a troll question than anything...

Yes Glock took care of me too... I'm surprised it isn't a sticky either... Most won't know of this problem until it arises and most don't even shot their HD ammo either due to a financial reason or time... I waited several weeks to hit the range with it fully loaded bedside thinking it would go bang when I pulled the trigger...

Called Glock up this morning. Quick and painless process. Have the replacement followers on the way.

Thanks again OP as I hadn't heard about this issue before your post.
