I like my 19 but because of this I can't trust it, I now have a M&P shield I use and a m&p 9 full size

Just called Glock directly... New followers being sent, FREE... I could only get the 9mm3. Glock rep said the 9mm6's wouldn't work :/

Yes. 9mm3 followers ONLY...

Glock rep specifically said 9mm6 would not work and a few CalGun/GlockTalk folks said the 9mm6 need modification to work... So it isn't a true drop in fix..

TBH, I'd rather keep the 2183 followers (that "only" fail on the tenth round) vs the 9mm3 followers that fail at rounds 4-6. Ymmv

It's a more common in the 19 than on the 17
Mine can even chamber empties with the 2183
A 19 that I had wouldn't chamber HP's

OP I was having the same problem with my Glock 17 Gen 3, except mine was with almost every other round and using FMJ! This is the reason why I got rid of my 17 and bought an XDm 9. Never buying a glock again. Glock has known about the issue with CA owners yet still ship F'ed up mags.

Check with the 9mm3 followers that the mag doesn't hold 11 rounds.

shot a few hundred rounds this weekend. here were the results

Gold Dot: 0 FTF in this session (I've had FTF from goldot before.)
HST: 0FTF in this session (but i've had FTF issues from HST before.)
Hornady Critical Defense: FTF on the last round of each mag.
FMJ: 0 issues.
