Trailer trash:
The gun will run from start to finish on a full mag. The gun can not chamber a mag which has 1 round in it. I understand the probability of ever needing to load a mag with 1 round in it is miniscule but none the less its concerning. More importantly the test indicates to me the feeding is not smooth and the round is hitting the feed ramp very hard before having no where else to go but in the chamber. This doesnt mean there isnt a problem when it doesnt FTF under normal shooting or when the slide is sling shot vs using the slide stop. It simply means the round is being forced in the chamber.
I use JHP for my reloads which have a very conservative nose much like a FMJ. Those feed better then my HST and Gold Dots but all still FTF.
The real test is to use calipers to measure the last JHP in the mag and let it chamber. Take it out and measure again. The set back indicates just how hard its hitting that feed ramp.
