    So what's the verdict?
Glock was nice enough to send me both 9mm6 and 9mm3, which one works reliable?

Guess I have been lucky when it comes to good quality loads of any kind. I've shot the HST, Gold dots and Winchester Ranger all without issue. These are the same followers in all of my G19 mags. Now I did have some recent issues with some commercial reloads that were under powered but it was a feeding issue.

I can vouch that the 9mm3s are hit and miss at best. I tested 2 mags. One failed every 2-3 shots. The other was only slightly more reliable but still had frequent FTFs.

I haven't hit the range with the 9mm6s yet. Probably will in the next 2-3 weeks.

I'm going to echo diese's statement: do not waste your time and money with the 9mm3s

I tested 9mm3 last Sunday , all went smoothly. Will test different HP, if works will leave as is.
Have some extra 9mm6. Pm if anyone needs a few

while you are at it, make sure to check FMJ as well, folks are claiming the 9mm3 are jamming up with FMJ and the 9mm3 now.

This was my issue with the 9mm3 followers. Running FMJ, the rounds would jam on the 6th round in the mag fairly consistently.

I have the 9mm6 followers, but haven't installed them or had a chance to hit the rage yet.

Just fyi, I just shot 250 federal hst 124g using my neutered 10 round mags. No issue with the "problem follower"! What the hell is the difference??

Were you able to do the 'Follower Test' using HP's from the first post? That has been a reliable way to test 2183 followers.

Yes, nothing wrong with them. Exception to the rule???

I would just be thankful you arent running into the issue. Maybe try a few other SD ammo choices. Although I've shot over 200 rounds of 124 HST and I've had issues with the 2183 on a gen 3.

I spoke with Glock on the phone a few days ago. They are sending me some 9mm-3 replacements. I did try the "test" as described in post 1 with all of my 10rnd mags. So far, they all passed the "test," which was given multiple times.

Only a true "range" test will verify if the mags work.

I was using Winchester 147gr "Ranger" HP's for the simple slide release test.

I'm going to test fire all of the existing 2183 followers at the range first, before I swap-out or sand down anything.

I did ask Glock why the he!! do they continue to use the 2183 followers for their 10-rnd mags and if they intend on fixing this problem. The tech was very direct and robotic like with his voice. He sounded like he read from a script saying, "I do not have any information about Glock and our magazines."

So currently the only fix I came up with is changing HP ammo from the Gold Dots to Critical Defense... They fed via hand test but obviously the true test would be at the range, which time hasn't been on my side for...

Such a let down for a great platform...
