All I've been buying this year has been SSE handguns...even got my wife to help out by getting her HSC so I could get 2 in 30 days...glad to have paid for the last few sitting on the shelf at my LGS awaiting the 30 day cycle.

Cool, after they pass the ammo ban then I'll have no reason to stay in this loser state any longer. How sad it truly is to live somewhere where we have our constitutional rights slowly taken away one by one. Not sure how this is even legal when almost every other state doesn't need to deal with this kind of crap. Are we Kalifornians seriously that untrustworthy and unsafe that we can't own the same guns every other person in other states can own no problem??? How is this legal??

Okay....I am getting dizzy. I know normal law abiding folk need to SSE , is a Calif active military except from just like LEO? I could not find info on active military. Thanks.

nope, no personal exemption for .mil personnel. The federal government can issue off-roster handguns, but they can't buy them for themselves.

I wouldn't count on this being the case. Everytime someone buys an SSE pistol, the parts for the SSE are offline for 10 days, or even longer since a buyer has up to 30 days to pick up. There is a limited supply of these SSE parts (barrels). Waiting lists for SSE were already the norm in many places and now you can bet they are going to get longer. If you get five more in, you'll be lucky. I wouldn't count on more than three or four.
