Single Shot Exemption Explanation/Database Thread

I am looking for a Ruger SR22 (I live in the San Jose). Brian Nussbaum Company does not have the kit for it, and Peter at Mount Pleasant Arms is not doing any special orders on SSE due to the pending legislation.

Any recommendations?

Tracy Rifle and Pistol had everything I wanted at a great price. Really nice place with nice people. I am glad they had the SR22 and are able to SSE it. Thanks for the recommendation. I Jailed the SR22 and now I wait.

I heard that AB 1964 (SSE ban) WILL BECOME LAW of Gov. Brown does not VETO the bill before the afternoon of Monday July 21st.

Does this bill restrict single action revolvers from being exempt as well?
I mean I read the page let me clarify, if one was to convert a double action to a single action would it then become exempt?
