        Direct from my email:

        Hi Sarah,

Sorry to keep asking questions, but I have another since the range re-qualification was cancelled. I received my new permit with the 2022 expiration date at the 4hr class, but my question is if the permit is actually valid since I have not yet done the range re-qualification? Just don't wan't to unknowingly break any laws.

Thanks again for all your time, superhondaz50

If you already have your permit, you are okay to carry. But we will reach out to re-qualify once we get dates set up.

I've sent two emails a week apart requesting further clarification on the status of 2020-2022 permits with no response. Has anyone else been contacted via phone or email about what SBSD is planning for us? Thx.

Is San Bernardino cancelling the ccw class/range qualifications at this time?

They have cancelled some. I don't know how far out they have though.

                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I received a call this week from SB CCW office letting me know that that my range date for May is cancelled. My permit is expiring in May and I was planning on updating my firearms. They said that since CA new law now requires that everyone must now qualify at the range before renewing. He said when my permit expires in May, I can no longer carry concealed until I re-qualify. Not the best news!

My interview was set for 4/22 and when all the Wang Chung virus started I heard nothing about it being canceled. About two weeks ago I got a phone message saying my interview was being postponed and they would get back to me to let me know when they reschedule it (Don't call us, we'll call you type of thing). That said I keep getting emails about once a week reminding me my interview is coming up and what I need to bring with me. Kinda confusing but I suppose the emails are automated.

They were trying to keep things moving.
Unfortunately they had to delay a number or processes.
My guess is the computer reminder was either overlooked or not a easy fix to 'fix'.

                            They probably are...

The same thing happened to me...

Emails on two Mondays in a row...

And then 2 days after the 2nd email, which was 2 days prior to my scheduled interview I received the telephone call that my interview was cancelled and that they would call me once they could reschedule...

                              ?

I haven't had any luck extracting info from Employee Resources via emails. Question to permit holders renewing so far this year: Have you suspended carrying due to uncertainty about the validity of your 2020-2022 permit? Why or why not?

Unless you were told to suspend carrying then there should not be a issue.
