My renewal isn't due for a while yet, but good info here. Thank you both for posting.

I called to clarify today and was pleasantly surprised that she said, since I've lived in (owned) our home for over 10 years... to just put our current home/address (I thought it odd she said that since it says not to put your current address)

And she told me I only needed the past 5 years employment rather than since I've been working...... (I've worked here over 5 years... so she told me to just put that.)

Makes the paperwork much easier! PHEW!

        LOL!
I pulled my Social Security records and ran employment back to 1977

What did that cost you? I saw someone saying that they charged a lot to do that.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I think it was around $100.
Had to get a new Birth Certificate too since we needed the certified copy... they hadn't digitized 1963 yet so I had to wait for it to be mailed rather than being able to walk in and pick it up.
At least it was just Norwalk and I didn't trek across half the state for that.

On employment, there was a period in the 80s where I had a few job changes and wasn't really clear on the dates.

              CCW Interview SBCSD 2018

I recently applied for my CCW with San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. I applied On June 12, 2018 and was lucky enought to get an interview the following week June 22, 2018. I was surprised since a couple friends of mine applied the previous year and didn't get an interview for aabout 7 months. Lucky me! I do have one question. I rent with my parent and do not have a utility bill in my name. Is a rental agreement acceptable? I will also be bringing my credit card statements, phone bill, w-2's, vehicle registration, etc. just in case.

Utility bills are on the must have list.

                  Thank You for the reply!
I Understand that, but is there anything i can use in replacement of the utility bill? Due to me living with my parents, I don't have any utility bill in my name. Even if i were to add my name to the bill, i wouldn't receive the statement in time since my interview is in 4 days.

Best to call them and ask if they will take anything else.

Not sure how SBC differs from OC, but I provided my vehicle registration and W-2 to OC and they accepted it. I was in the same boat where I don't have any utility bills in my name as I am not the homeowner. I would just call and ask...

There seems to be some variations depending on who you talk to. On the residence history form it states "do not list your current address"- In my case Ive lived at the same address my entire life. called for clarification and Dep. Taber said write it down anyway. Upon my interview, the other Dep. tried to give me grief for "not following directions".

                              Doh....

Maybe head off the 'grief' with a note such as lived at current address XX years.
