    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I applied in May of '15 and my interview was in August.
I was approved in early November, but my app still needed to be circulated for the various signatures, and with the holidays, plus they were having the office gutted and re-carpeted, it was a hectic month.

Yup... Some things have to wait like time-sensitive documents, but birth certs, being aware of when your CDL expires, and things like that should be in order before the app is submitted.

It would suck to have your CDL expire the day before the interview... which brings to mind, how are they handling the "Federal Restrictions Apply" CDLs?

That the problem with a lot of people these days. Organization is key! I wonder if the people who cancel have a hard time getting their ccw the next time around.

They possibly rescheduled rather than just cancelled.

Got a call confirming my appointment and that was the 2nd person to tell me I only needed my current job, since I've worked here so long. He did however tell me to leave the residence paper blank rather than put my current address.

I told him what I had been told when I called previously and also that I "heard" of someone who got "yelled" at for not following directions... He said he would speak to the investigator and if the info was different from what he told me (put nothing on residence and current job on employment) he would call me back.

Thank you, I'm glad someone had those numbers handy. The SB shooting created a big surge. I hear now applications have slowed back down so the Dept. should be processing faster, given the DOJ restrictions.

We need to keep that momentum going by encouraging people to apply.

Seems many are just too busy/lazy to apply.

i don't remember reading on here... but does SBSD have any issues with an RMR on the gun when you go to qual with it?

i'm sending mine off to get milled (with back up irons since it's a carry gun) but i don't want any issues with getting it approved to carry.

Hmmm....they emphasize following instructions. Especially at the range, but throughout the process too. What do you think they will do if you have not followed instructions?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe it's frowned upon to have an RMR on your carry gun...however, if you're qualifying and carrying without it, I think it should be fine. It can be used negatively against you in court. I'm pretty sure I overheard one of the LEO's on range day tell someone that they shouldn't have it.
