    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I completely spaced I thought I heard one of the instructors say we can modify any of our carry guns as long as we don't remove any serialized parts. So how are people running red dots on say a glock ? Milling the factory slide ?

          I think you heard incorrectly.

OEM MOS slide on mine, however no one cared to ask if it was factory or milled by someone else back when I initially qualified.

I remember them saying we couldn't replace glock barrels because they are serialized

Interesting, you're the first one to report anything like that.

Maybe I should reach out to Sarah for clarification

This only applies to the actual frame. I questioned them regarding mine. My Glock slide had a cracked rail and it was replaced under warranty with a different number. They told me the only number they cared about was the actual frame serial number being legible. They specifically said I could run an aftermarket slide and barrel when I asked about going with a RMR set up.

Thank you much easier to order a new slide instead of sending the factory one to get cut

On this subject, do the mods have to be done at the time of qualification/renewal or can something like a red dot be added afterwards?
