I would venture to say that most of us have ONLY applied for a CCW with the IA where we live.

Are you IA shopping? Something very odd here.

Whats an IA? I am not so keen on sharing too much personal info on the internet, not sure how that seems unusual. I am trying to see if anyone has had this issue, so they can let me know if it DQ'd them or they were honest and were issued the permit. I do not want to invest several hundred dollars to only find out a guy last month had the same issue and got denied.

You are still not answering questions.
WHY ARE YOU APPLYING MORE THAN ONE PLACE?

I think I get it now... Perhaps applied at different PD's for employment not for a CCW?

Yes, your posts seemed evasive on the surface, but I think I misunderstood your post about applying at different PD's etc. But I can almost assure you that if you aren't 100% forthcoming about everything in your past they'll probably spot it.

Ahhh gotcha! Now I see where I wasn't being clear. I was applying for jobs, not a CCW. I did not not know agencies give polygraphs for CCW applicants. Does that give better context to my statement, and initial question?

P.s. No need to yell, don't forget your manners because we can't see your face.

Thank you! I've been through a couple of background checks, for employment and security clearance. My issue is trying to find out how they weigh the polygraphs.

                    Hey WASR10,

Thank you first and foremost for the courteous reply. Can I ask have you known anyone that has had this issue, as far as inconclusive /failed polygraph? I have never had an issue with DV beyond this accusation during the polygraph. I actually laughed when he accused me of it, not mature but so awestruck by the accusation. Its really led me to understand the polygraph is as ineffective as it gets. But, anybody that has dealt with a police agency knows sometimes they put the blinders on when it comes to situations like these.

                    Thanks,
                    MARUZE

The 'yelling' was for your benefit since you were NOT answering regular questions.

Yelling at someone for their benefit? How millenial of you. You're disrespectful on the internet for some reason only you can know. But, hey nobody's perfect and I dont hold grudges. Appreciate your insight. Have a nice weekend.

FYI I am not a millennial. If you feel you are being disrespected by me you are right. You wasted everyone's time with your games.

I've held a Ventura county ccw for 4 years, no issues. We are considering relocating to the big bear area, probably outside the city limits but that still to be determined. Any information or a change of county and the process would be appreciated

You'll need to check with Ventura about how much time you have to notify them of the move.

Apply with San Bernardino as escrow closes. SD is good cause just need to expand on why you feel you need to defend yourself. Go back a few pages and you'll see all kinds of reasons.

                                Welcome to the county.

                                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
