With what's going on with the 10 round mags ruling. Are ccw holders gtg with carrying 10+ now?

My paperwork turn in didn't take long... long enough for me to fill in the paperwork there...... have the deputy look it over and me sign... and get my picture take. There was no "interview". It was a paperwork/money order turn in.

That's what I was assuming. I mean, it seems pretty clear. But then again, I would imagine it would depend on where you are stopped if you were to show proof of your permit. LA county seems pretty tight knit compared to San Bern. I could be wrong.

Quick question, so two years ago when filling out the CCW app, I remember having to include which firearm you wish to have on your permit which was my shield at the time.

Since then I’ve purchased a PCR and I have my range day next month. If I want to also add my PCR, just bring it and qual?

If you didn't tell them you wanted to add a firearm you don't have a "range date".

If you're talking about your renewal class you aren't to take any firearms with you to class.

If you want to add a firearm to your permit you need to send them an email to ccwinfo@sbcsd.com. They will tell you when you can go to the range and qualify with your new firearm.

I just had my renewal class and it was said that if you want to change firearms you need to do it as close to the 90 days before expiration as it takes them some time to get it taken care of.

                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Sorry I forgot to mention that it’s the firearms safety class and range date (I got the call for my date) to acquire my ccw.

So just fill out the firearm form that they provide on their site with the handguns I want on the permit and bring to the range, correct?

                    You have a 'range date'?
Or is it your renewal class?

If you did not inform them you want to add a firearm then as Morrcarr67 stated you need to get a range date.

ABSOLUTELY do NOT take any firearms into the renewal class with you.

This is my “range date” and safety course to acquire my ccw, not renewal.

You did your application two years ago?
Just now going to your range/class?

Okay, in that case. Take what ever firearms you want listed on your permit; limit 3. Have all of the information per firearm on a piece of paper; make, model and serial number.

You will copy that information on to range cards they give you. One will be yours and the other will stay with them. They use this information to confirm that they are yours and to make sure they are properly listed on your permit.
