Yes I have, did the interview 5/29 with the sheriff deputy, references called that same day. The application portal just says processor assigned status pending….

this is a first time initial CCW application if that makes a difference

After the injunction, they got a ruling, ruling only struck down a few places. This is where we are now.

Initial apps do take longer. To be honest I do not know the current timeline for others. If you aren't a member of the SB County CCW FB group you may want to check there. Good luck!!!

Oops! Meant injunction, although injection seems fitting. Maybe San Bernardino County decided they don't like SB2, and won't be enforcing it? I will drop them a message and see if that PDF was just overlooked and needs updating. I am learning a new email program (Outlook), it may take me a bit to figure out how to actually send a message.

That PDF has been up forever, they just never updated it. It is absolutely not current. It has been up since my last renewal in Dec 23. They are absolutely enforcing SB2 restrictions. The most up to date info is found on their permitium site, and not their website. It's up to you to make sure you are legally carrying.

Yep, gotta make some choices, risk vs reward.

Where exactly is their SB2 info on the permitium site?

I guess I worded that for **** ... It's not on permitium. I'm saying that permitium seems to be the only site they do updates to. They haven't touched their regular site in at least two years (from what I've noticed). The class will go over the latest SB2 nonsense.

The problem is some changes may have happened since a person has taken their class.

Yup, the state changes things so frequently, add lawsuits on top of that, it's incredibly difficult for the average person to keep up.

im leaning towards the online class and in person range qualifications due to work and little kids

                        r66 or riverside indoor?

Which one works better schedule wise for you?
Is one closer than the other to you?

I have used Rt66 for my last two renewals and have been very happy with them.
Pitfall for me personally were they bathroom location being down some wicked steps.

Well I plan on doing the online ccw class and just attending in person for the live fire portion of the course

how was R66? I put down 3 guns on my interview am I allowed to change that at the live fire portion?

The question about changing firearms may be better asked of the CCW unit.
Rt66 is a nice venue. It is very rustic, no frills!
Take a coat! The wind kicks up and it gets cold on that hillside.
