FYI to all S/O called this morning for a
range date June 6th at Devore. This is a
Monday, which I didn't know could happen
Works out good for me as I'm usually
Off Monday and Tuesday.

Interview 2-4-16
Range date 6-6-16

I had my interview 2-4-16 ave my range date in Monday. I wonder why they passed mines before yours?

I believe they did away with the one year residency. The quals now state "full time resident"

Had not returned questionaire sent on interview day, and

Not sure how my interview was more than a month after yours. Im just happy that it's moving along.

Interview was 2/6 (I believe), notified today that I had passed (a bit of extra time due to employment verification issue) and range date 6/6. Seem to have misplaced the paperwork for what to bring to the range? I know about the guns locked in the car and 30 rounds of ammo each,ear and eye protection and the $100 money order. Anything else?

There's a paper that list the guns you'll be putting on your permit they really don't ask for it. It's only used to court to your range card. Just noteyo your serial numbers somewhere you can refer to. You should already know the make and model of your firearms.

Just left the range qualification. Seriously easy. 5 yards, 5 rnds reload, 5 rnds. It's mainly to see if you practice safe firearm handling. They use the B-27 target, however you have to aim above the number line between the 7s.

I was playing with fire aiming at the 8 & 7 instead of the 9. Yet at 5 yards I was confident I wouldn't have any strays.

The target zone is above the centerline in the 7, 8, 9, or X rings.

I aimed for the 8 as well.

Hey my sights need to be adjusted. Remember when I said my gun has been shooting right and you said it may be too much trigger finger? Well at a Calgun meet I let someone shoot it and it is indeed shooting right. Is there anyway I can adjust it without a sight pusher? I've been compensating by slightly removing the space between front and left rear sights.
