Renewal is easy with the new system, I submitted everything online only take two days to get my license.

How long do I have between the time I move and the time I submit an address change modification? Instructions state a bill proves residency but those generally take a month or so in the new home to receive, correct?

Kinda lame because I'm due for renewal in June anyway.
Statutes and policy require change of address notification within 10 days. (That can be done by e-mail.) They don't establish a timeframe for modifying the license.

A couple of months is probably ok....over a year would probably be questioned.

        Thank you Dvr, very helpful.
It was just an old plywood boat, with a '75 Johnson, with electric choke. A young boy, two hands on the wheel, I can't replace the way it made me feel.

I applied for one 12/13. Still shows as processing in system. I did upload new qualification and two new proof of address. Just make sure all your ducks are in a row. Word is mods are the bottom of the priority list. I can respect that I guess, at least we have something.

I called DOJ today and my livescan is still pending. It's been 6 weeks... I guess it's a waiting game now.

You're better off than I. I had my interview in early February and have yet to receive the approval to proceed to Live Scan.

It looks like the new system is starting me down the path of renewal.i was hoping a duplicate request might be less complicated.

Damn, I put a TILE Bluetooth tracker in my wallet next to my ccw. If I loose it I can easily track sms locate it with my phone. If I loose my phone, I can find it with the tile. IMG_0063.JPG

That’s cool! The size of the thing is what strings up my ham. Too big to fit in my wallet. Now it has a slot for a badge clip. Which I used for awhile. I put a nice crease in my first one by shoving it in my pants pocket. Pretty sure I had it in a coat pocket with a pair of gloves while filming my son’s soccer game. Almost dropped it once pulling the gloves out. May have lost is subsequently. Sucks getting old and forgetful.

Can you get a replacement CCW if yours gets lost or damaged? If so, what's the process? That might help the guy who lost his.
