physically go to your house? I don't think so. You do need to provide two forms to show address

Didn't think so. I've read that some counties do. I was just curious cuz my wife or kids have not said anything about the sheriffs coming to our house. I gave em 2 proofs of residence at initial application and another 2 with my training certificate.

My guess would be the caliber you are currently running. But that's just a guess

You will carry what your license shows you qualified to carry, including caliber.*
You will not be licensed to carry anything not on the license.
Decide what you want to carry, qualify with it and submit the paperwork.

*Some agencies, including SSD have approved multiple calibers on a single gun, but required qualification on both calibers.

No, I don't know...you'll need to contact SSD to find out if they still do this.

Here's my CCW Application Timeline. Note my CCW process took a bit longer then it was suppose to due to the fact my application was clasified as a renew application when it was supposed to be a new application.

                    Janaury 2nd: Schedule Appointment

                    August 7th: Initial Interview

October 5th: Recieved an email from the Sherriff Department stating to get my Live Scan and 16hr. CCW Training Course done

October 5th: Submitted the Live Scan Form Online

October 15th: Submitted CCW Qualification Certificate and CCW Qualification Form

October 16th: Recieved an email stating that your application for a CCW has been approved and ask me to pay your Final CCW Fee

October 16th: Paid the final payment

October 23rd: Recieved an email stating your permit is ready for pick-up

Good news. I'm submitting for my renewal on the 18th. We can still start it 60 days out, right?

Yes, I believe you can start it past 60 days for renewal.

Just to give an update on my renewal timeline. I submitted the app and uploaded all paperwork on 10/29. Just got the email today 11/8 that my permit is ready for pickup.

They're really cranking them out now. 23 hour turnaround for me (renewal), and that's including having to correct an error uploading the documents.
