1/18/18 - Applied, 6/20 interview
Continued to check for sooner availability, was able to snag a 4/2 interview
4/2 interview - took 10 minutes, super easy
4/5 email telling me to proceed with Livescan and training
4/5 Livesacn
5/5 - 5/6 training
5/7 Upload training cert and updated proof of residency
5/8 7am email saying I'm approved and to pay the final fee
5/8 8am pay final fee
5/8 12pm - come pick up your permit

SCSO is really getting quick!

I had my interview in mid-February and have still not gotten my approval to go to Livescan.

Anybody know if there is any benefit to just going down there for a status update? They don't have the voicemail option in the system any more.

i would have to say anyone but Scott Jones and have encouraged all my friends to vote against him after his conduct and the lawsuits he has lost. As far as i am concerned he is a disgrace to the badge. As for the D position we have two of the worst candidates in the state facing off against each other. we need a good write in candidate but that is not going to happen. Phillips is a total sell out in my personal opinion and schubert is just another cronny of Scott covering up his crimes in office.

So big red is im favor of violating our civil right of self defense of our and our families lives.

The other leading turd flat out said no ccw 's to us lowly citizens.

Ultimately it is up to us to protect ourselves at the most basic level.

Im voting on the most basic level of one issue. The ability to legally protect my kid and wife if necessary.

I donated to Sheriff Scott Jones and will continue to vote and support his run.

Sheriff Jones also is not in favor of prop 47 BS.

I had heard a few recently successfully submitted and received modifications so I emailed Amber and she said yes, you can submit but they are not a priority and will be handled as time permits. That being said, both modifications I heard of recently took 2 months to process.

I just processed my modification today so the wait begins...

Update on my "weapons modification". It was just approved, issued and picked up today. While they are being accepted, my wait time was 6 months.

I got about the same timing for a permit mod to add a gun.
Wonder if they just decided to go thru the pile of mods that week.

I don't see Noah Phillips coming close to beating out Anne-Marie Schubert. Here's one of the many reasons:

I also believe Sheriff Jones should win pretty handedly. His only competition will more than likely primarily be retired Captain Fitch. Just my opinion.

Applied for a Mod on 5/29 and got my modification on 5/30. They must be processing mods now quickly.
