Does getting a training document request mean your live scan was complete?

Applied for a mod to my permit on 9 March, wife did same. Got email from the software company with NO information in email at all, it just said "Application withdrawn". Status bar on Sac County page shows same. Since they never answer phone I went to Hurley street office. Officer told me the suspended all modifications due to massive backlog of original permit requests also said it might be a year before they do any mods to CCW. Si basically next year when I come up to renew. In meantime the $30 range fee and ammo were just wasted money.

Unfortunately, with the current system and process, the only thing that getting a training document request means is that you got a training document request.

Outside of that, we know that the statute precludes an IA from requiring training prior to approval of the Good Cause determination.

26165(d) The applicant shall not be required to pay for any training courses prior to the determination of good cause being made pursuant to Section 26202.

I'm moving into Sac county on June 30th. Can someone walk me through the process? I'm moving from another county within California. I plan on changing my address and bills over the day I get the keys to my new place (which is June 30th). When should I start making an appointment with the Sheriff's Department?

It's so nice to be moving to a county that respects the 2A rights of it's citizens!

No and the automated phone service doesnt exacly work. I emailed the SSD and they greenlight me for classes. If you are unsure i would ask them to see if livescan clear.

I also picked mine up this morning. If they have requested the training cert it is a good bet that livescan has come back. My CCW instructor said they are coming back in about 2 weeks right now.

People on the new system: Did SSD give you a date to pickup your permit after you submitted your training and Qual docs.?

No after you submitted everything and after they processed your final payment they'll tell you to go in on a tuesday or thursday for pickup.
