Oh, so you are way ahead of me. I'm wondering why someone received the condition approval faster than others. I've seen someone got his/her initial approval within 2 weeks.

I don't think that's the case because my initial interview was on the same day with skishooter and he got the approval two weeks later while I'm still waiting.

A few years ago, Sheriff Jone's opened a Saturday for initial appointments to jump start the program. Perhaps we will see more such innovation in July?

I received my initial approval 7 days after the interview. There is no rhyme or reason. Hang in there.

The board of deciders meets once a month. Some folks get notified sooner than others. I had my interview 9/24/16. The board met 10/08/16. I was notified 10/09/16. My buddy, who applied the same day and interviewed two days earlier didn't get notified until almost a week after me. Funny thing was during the livescan portion his only took 67 days to come back. Mine was 95 days.

Issuance appointments are back up beginning 7/6... Get them while they're hot!!!

I also got an email telling me they re-scheduled on my behalf, on the same day of the week and time as my last appointment. While I was disappointed with the cancellation, I appreciate that the Sheriff and his staff went above and beyond to reschedule for me...

Yea, I dunno what the future holds. But even if they do, at least I've hedged with an appointment. And I think it shows good will on behalf of the Sheriff, if he had gone anti-CCW I don't think he would have opened the calendar back up...

I'd bet on hell freezing over before Jones went "anti-Ccw". Lol, he's done more for CCW holders in 2 years than 4 sheriffs before him combined.

I agree completely, but there was a bunch of chatter here right after he cancelled all of the appointments that this represented him caving to the County Supes, or some other nonsense. Just pointing out that he seems to be keeping his word...
