Raising your tone might be appropriate but cursing when I'm paying your for training should not be tolerated. This is ccw training not boot camp

      not boot camp

You have to wonder why they seem to be the only training course that has so many unsafe participants.

I have had CCW classes with three different organizations on four different occasions.

This kind of boot camp mentality in a CCW training course is neither needed nor especially productive.

I think we've strayed off-topic. Myself included. I propose we get back on the topic of assisting those interested in applying for a CCW. We're up to 50 pages and we do not want possible applicants to get discouraged from seeking info. There is a forum designated for Training Classes elsewhere.

Im finding myself checking the mail a couple of times a day.... For business applicants, I guess the unit no longer requires an employment verification form. Now they just make copies of your employment ID.

It's been 85 days since the completion of all my forms and my Livescan. Just waiting for DOJ to get back to the department which after I checked last night, is still in processing.

Don't feel bad, I've been waiting since November. They said it takes 3-4 months from when you submit your completed form and initial interview. It looks like I got a couple of weeks left.

Just an FYI.. Not sure if it's been posted or not. Aguire and Yazzo finally have some help. I had to stop in there for something and there was a nice lady there at the front cubicle. Talked for a few minutes while she was making a copy of paperwork for Aguire for me. I told her it was awesome they finally got someone and asked what she was going to be doing. She said she wasn't sure because she had only been there for 4 days so far. We both chuckled at it and I went on my way.

Not sure if this will help speed up the process but at least it seems those 2 guys finally have the help they needed.

Well that's a great start. Hopefully it will lighten their lead. The only issue I see is, I don't think it will speed up our times any. We all have exact dates for our appts, if they can squeeze in a few more per day, they would basically need to call everyone back, to see if they can come in a few days early.

                    See what I'm getting at?

probably try and fit in a renewal if someone cancels. IMO

                          cancelations

they told me that they look forward to cancellations and no-shows, so they can catch up on processing paperwork. They dont have very many , but it sounds like they dont call applicants to fill the appointment time.

We always talk about people who got approved, how about people who did not? How was that process like after you went through all the paperwork? (Open-ended question)
