Also.... On the DOJ application there are only 3 spots to list my weapons. I want to do 4. Where did you guys list your additional weapons? Thank You.
I wont ever say "CLIP" again... It is a magazine.....

If I remember correctly, they tell you to use another page.

If you qualify at Ben Clark, they don't even look at what you handed in on this page (according to now-retired Deputy Agguire) . They will give you another blank form, which has spots for six guns, and have you fill it out there. Then the deputies will verify your gun has not been modified (no Apex triggers, no stippling), verify mag disconnect (if your gun came with a mag disconnect), hand-test trigger pull strength, verify the serial number, and then have you qualify.

Yes, there was someone at the qual who had stippled their Glock and the deputies would not allow it. They said it "weakens the frame". "Furniture" (meaning fiber optic sights, improved grip, etc.) was OK.

Is it possible to give too much information on your Good Cause Statement?

I also finally got THE CALL yesterday about 2:30pm but unfortunately i was hours away so had to wait till today to pick it up. Timeline was as follows:

Dec 2015 called to make appt
              12-6-16 interview date
              1-6-17 class and qualify
              5-18-17 approved for pickup

Yezzo honestly seemed happy to be handing it out, really cool guy and i DO believe he did everything as fast as possible, but livescan and other contributing factors slow down the process.

I guess your friend that has friends is wrong!

                • It would require hiring more officers (so is this a way for the Chief to hire more officers, and he is really going to ask the taxpayers to hire more officers to approve CCW's. Good luck with that)
                • OR they use outside investigators, which will cost $761 a person (sounds like the 91 FastTrack. If you are willing to pay more, you can get it quicker from MPD).
                • And there will be a psych eval (Riverside Sheriff does not do psych evals for ccw's)
                • And NO WHERE does it say what good cause will be required for a CCW in Murrieta.

I have a friend that knows people in power down in Murrieta. They do not see this going through anytime soon. Too much opposition from the powers that be down there.

For those of you who live in Murrieta, I suggest just going with Riverside Sheriff. Even though the wait is long, by the time Murrieta gets this up and running, you may already have your CCW from Riverside Sheriff.

Recently there was an announcement of a change in upper management at the City. And magically MPD announces they will start issuing CCW's. So my info was correct.

If you are referring to the RCSD CCW unit, it is on the same property in the relocatable buildings. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

I did my livescan in Temecula where the shopping center and theater are at. It's like a spectrum area where restaurants and other businesses are located.
