Thank you so much, appreciate the info. Do you happen to know if I can use anything else besides my Mobile phone bill as a proof of residence? I live in my dad's house and he gets all the bills to his name. My car is under my name but it's registered in my mom's address.

Have your dad put a utility i your name with his address and pay it, gas or something. Our gas bill is never over $100, and is typically under $50.

Not clear if you are asking for carry advice, or whether a larger gun will pass muster with the CCW Unit. If you're asking the latter, I had my 6" GP-100 on my permit. They don't care what size gun it is so long as it's a handgun.

Thank you Bunysloper, and yes sorry I was kinda asking about the handgun since they specify on the OCSD that it should be a concealable handgun that fits on a person or a decently sized bag. Thank you for the reply

Would I have to write the GC in a letter form or how would be the correct way to do that?

XD9 is concealable in certain clothes and body types.

I wrote my GC in one page using a business letter format.

Why did they need your Utah CCW and what were the additional requested documentation?
ATF Form 4473: If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver, not a handgun or long gun.

In the application, they ask if you have other CCWs.

I have had my CCW for many years but I am amending it for the first time (adding gun), it has been 7 business days and no update since I submitted all the info. Is this pretty standard? I had thought an amendment would be quick. I am itching to carry my new gun!
