Finished my initial class yesterday. Just need to upload info now and schedule an apt but the site lists everything as full. Result is all the work to upload info is wasted because the form doesn’t save.

previous renewals, you get a conditional approval pending training, but this time I didn't get any conditional approval.

I just moved to Orange County from la county and would like to take advantage of the perks of the county when it comes to ccw.

Therefore, Two part question- dmv is closed, I have changed my address on the dmv website however can I still submit with my current license with my old address?

2nd question-I’m looking at getting a second carry firearm, due to the extended processing time should I hold off on my application Until I have it, or just go ahead and submit my ccw app to get my place in line before the post corona rush, and add a second way down the road with an amendment?

1) Ok with current drivers license
2) Your choice, I would apply now and amend later
3) Video interviews starting this week. I think I will be one of the firsts as I was the very next appointment right when they shut down

If you get the second firearm and qualify with it before license is issued on the day you go to pick the license up they can put it on the license if you ask for it.

They are nice that way.

Yes, they did that for my gf on initial pickup.

Just email them and submit amendment training form.

I was supposed to have my interview on the 20th but was told via email it was put on hold due to the in person interview

same here, I added 2 guns to my training that wasn't initially part of the application and they just added it for me since new CCW hasn't been issued yet.

Just got an email that my amendment has been approved. I emailed them last week and they said they’d start reviewing this week.

Amendment timeline - removing firearm from license.

I had someone interested in my Kahr PM9 and I couldn't pass up on the deal on letting it go. The Kahr has been sitting in my safe for about a year now when I got a Glock 43 through a PPT. Here's my timeline.

- Sold Kahr PM9 on 2-19-2020 @ 7pm
- Completed amendment 2-19-2020 @ 8pm
- Received email approval on 2-28-2020 stating the license is ready for pickup. I wasn't able to pick up my license but I did reach out indicating that it would be about 2 weeks. No problems.
- Received text message 3-17-2020 indicating new OCSD CCW process and procedures due to COVID-19. I was informed that I would be contacted by OCSD indicating next steps.
- Was contacted by OCSD via email on the morning of 4-21-2020 indicating that I should be receiving a call.
- Spoke to OCSD on the phone later in the afternoon on 4-21-2020. Payment accepted over the phone.
- Received license via mail on 4-24-2020 with an return envelope to return old license.

All in all, no issues what so ever. Again, OCSD has been super helpful and professional.

I got an automated message telling me that my CCW renewal is approved and someone will be calling me to process payment and send the new license via USPS.
