Anyone receiving pick up calls? It feels like it?s been awfully quiet lately ��

One call last week that I know of for pickup. Me and him submitted our training same day and got confirmation same day. He was just shy of 10 weeks. I'll he at 11 weeks this Friday and no call yet. Seems like they got slower after crpa told them to hurry ut up. 🤡

Looks like it's kind of getting close to call some July apps (hopefully). I'm working on my Live scans and ccw class in the next two weeks.

I wouldnt count on it. When I spoke with the CCW unit I got the impression that call for interview was based on "check cashed" time frame. I say this because I submitted my app very close to you and my application wasnt even put into their system until my check was cashed in early Oct 22. In addition, I was told last month they were processing apps that were input in July, not received in July.

Me and Mikeg2503 submitted our training records to CCW Unit on 02/07/23. They were received on 02/10/23. I received my pick-up call on 04/19/23. Mikeg2503 is still waiting (why or how he is still waiting is another question).
It was just under 10 weeks for me, and Mikeg2503 is coming up on 11 weeks. So it's fair to say you are looking at 10-12 weeks for a pick-up call. I hope it's much faster for you. Good luck.

Hence why I had hopefully in parenthesis? if they are going by when checks was cashed and then the app being assigned to a unit ? 3 months more is still close enough to me? the only thing that would interrupt my patience is that phone call for an interview. Gives me enough time to get some kind of utility bill under my name anyways.

It took 11 weeks for my call. That was during the sheriff shift change with new documents needed.

It's nuts man. The wife got her call 5 weeks after her docs received email. She picked up early this month. I guess whoever my investigator is must only work part time or once a week 🤣. It's pretty crazy I'm almost at 11 weeks and still haven't heard anything. I'm just hoping when i do get the call it'll be a pickup date within a few days instead of a month or so out. Glad most people are getting reasonable pick up dates. It's still about an 8 week average according to some reddit posts I've read.

I see many people saying their livescans are complete or approved.

I did my livescan recently but how do we know if its complete or approved in the process by CA, FBI, etc??


Also what would be the next step after livescan? just wait for them to contact us for training?

Not yet. Literally sent it in this morning. Tbh I?d be shocked if I even get a confirmation this week haha

Sent my training docs on 4/8 and a polite follow up on 4/11 for confirmation of receipt and received a request for current utility bill on 4/17 but no confirmation on of receipt yet 🤔

One data point, I did my livescan on 4/5/2023 as requested on the LASD website for applicants who applied last summer. The firearms portion cleared on the 12th. Fluke? Who knows but perhaps the backlog is done.
