I checked.. it looks the same as it did last year after Bruen decision.. The policy is under review pertains to that.

I'm not too worried about SB2.. because as soon as it's passed (it 100% will), there will be lawsuits.. and they will lose... Supreme court will slap it back down like it's doing to New Jersey and NY with similar new laws.

I partly agree with you on the slap it back down. The sensitive places will for sure be ruled as unconstitutional BUT the fee increase, the hours of training increase will not be. I don't think. The Bruen decision left that part wide open for interpretations so unless the supreme court issues a much more firm clear opinion letter that will be their way. Although one cna argue the 14th amendment will apply there as increasing fees pretty much targets lower to middle class and certain races....

Caught Bonta on Fox11 news tonight talking about SB2. Props to the host for asking the right questions, who is usually ultra squishy. Only to be dodged by Bonta with Newsom's BS. Not surprising.

I thoroughly 100% agree. He dodged the questions with responses that didn't answer the questions asked.

It's funny that Bonta asks for the data but ignores the data showing that CCW holders aren't involved in mass shootings. And he believes (not data driven) that an increase in firearms will increase gun deaths.

So just checked the LASD site for the first time in a while and looks like they updated it, and it says their CCW policy is under review. Think this is because of SB 2?

I just checked it out and I don't remember seeing that a few months back. I did see the August update thing that's always been there. Wonder if that currently under review has always been there or did they just recently add that.

Has anyone been contacted within the last two weeks? My wife got her PTT email last Friday Jan 27th.

The currently under review statement is relatively new. Not sure when exactly.

Nothing here either. Will most likely renew my real estate license twice over before I get the proceed to training email. Meanwhile our office saw a double-homicide at the front door, but gun laws keep us safe right?

For now, keeping medical training and hands on combatives up to snuff.
