So my Livescan is now complete and will be submitted to LASD in due course.
Not expecting any gotchas in there as I was already live scanned by LASD in 2021 for other activities I am involved in with them as a civilian volunteer.
It seems like the next step is for me to sign up for a firearms course without waiting for their next email so that I have the certificate of completion ready to submit for when I get the 'go to training' email.
I think the training certs are good for 12 months which should be long enough for them to process the live scan!
Anyone have a view on this approach? TIA

still waiting for my proceed to training email. livescan cleared awhile ago

i'm going to be moving (still within LA county) at the end of next month, but out of LA city. anybody gone through this? don't know what to do about it

My live scans all cleared 9/19 and I’m still waiting for an email for training. I reached out a week ago and they said they’re still reviewing my file and live scan. I hope it’s soon, and hopefully nothing changes with the new sheriff.

So I did my livescan CA portion took a couple days and my firearms completed around 10 days or so but it still shows the fbi portion is still processing. Haven't seen that happen to any one the only thing that I have on my record that popped up when I did a records review on myself was a dui that I had gotten like 17 years ago in a different state. I know the livescan Says we will send the issuing agency your info after firearms Clear anyone know what happens in my situation?

Cool, yeah it's kinda weird that my fbi is still pending buy my firearms portion is clear, not sure if you remember but when you look up the ati # the CA and fbi portion have a message saying once firearms is complete we will send your info to the appropriate agency. Since my firearms cleared before my fbi I thought it was weird haven't seen anyone else with my situation in their TL.

No problem, they confirmed receiving my email the next day on 10/5. I would advise anyone to resend their docs if they haven't heard back after 2 days.

I know its not an exact science but if you got your training email on 10/5 and the group of us on here that got it 10/19 give or take a day might have another week or so. Hopefully before thanks giving.

Is not having a utility bill in my name going to screw me over? I had my interview in April 2022 where I submitted my car registration. Got a email from CCW unit in July 2022 to provide utility bill or lease agreement since they no longer accept car registration. I provided my lease agreement and never heard back.
