    How do you know they were involved in the scandal? Also whats your timeline looking like? Your permit mailing address has to be from where you reside.

                        One of them received their Training email a few minutes ago, of course not in the order you would have thought, it's definitely not in the order they were cleared. Now off to Disneyland for the day, maybe the other will get theirs by lunch time.

                            Just got my training email! I'll most likely take the course at Firing Line in Burbank this weekend.
                            8/19/21 - app submitted
                            6/1 - interview completed
                            8/5 - FBI completed
                            8/9 - DOJ completed
                            8/12 - firearms completed
                            9/26 - proceed to training email
                            10/4 - training completed, docs submitted
                            11/9 - call for pick up
                            11/15 - picked up!

                                stupid question but if you get a proceed to training email is that it if you complete and pass the shooting test? Then its just the wait to pickup if the paperwork is in order?

                                From application to proceed to training its been just over a year already.

                                    Proceed to training is the CCW class and that's where you'll do the shooting test.

                                        Lol....I wish it would get processed faster....looking at 14 months, bud. They're doing at the LATEST, October right now. I'm still waiting from December myself.

                                            The 2 I am following did their Livescan first, then had to wait for their proceed to training email. Did it change, and if so, when did LASD change the order?
