What station did they call from and which one are you picking up at?

My file is obviously in a different stack than yours. Theoretically I should have gotten a call already based on our timelines.

Ok well where was your interview? Mine was at Sherman Block Monterey Park.

I believe all the pickups are at Monterey Park. It's the only place they can print the CCW Cards.

Just trying to deduce if there's a correlation between interview location and processing time towards call for pick up. Since that might mean the files are physically in different locations = different deputies, different schedules/workload, different supervisors for final approval, different # of files in the stack to get thru, etc.

Unless all applicant files are forwarded to Sherman Block during the final step? I know everyone can randomly be on different time lines by pure chance.

I believe all physical applications are sent to the same place, the Hall of Justice. Once there they are input into "the system" and can be accessed from wherever they need to be access from.

If so, did you guys get a call yet for pickup?
They received my training documents on the 25th of October, still havnt heard a from them.

Oh... Well that goes my theory then on why some files take longer / shorter.

I guess I'm about to break the record of wait time post-Bruen of 8+ weeks from training docs received to call for pickup. No response to follow-up emails while others get a response.

What county are you in? Did they make you shoot with them or is it just training on your own? My shooting is fine but I get extremely nervous on exam type of situations tbh

I just got called today. See my time line below. But there does not seem to be a direct order. It seems like it's being done in batches with as many as 2 months difference in one batch. There is someone on here that has been waiting over 8 weeks and yet I was only waiting 5 weeks and got called.

If everyone interviewed at Sherman Block then the physical files with all our documentation we brought in are in the same location. But luck of the draw, different stacks assigned to different people, honest human error with things getting lost amongst thousands waiting at the final step, can easily mean +/- 60 to 90 days difference.
