I just did my phone interview on Saturday. Called from a spam number, they called two weeks prior but I didn’t pick it up because it was spam. I also was able to add an additional gun at this time. After the interview I submitted my drivers license and birth certificate and trash bill because that’s the only utility in my name.

How long after livescan completes till proceeed to training? Is it about 2 months that's what I'm seeing from the last few posts.

I'm wondering at what point would it be reasonable for me to email to check on status? 7 weeks now since receipt of training docs. No call. No messages.

Give them an email. Our timelines are somewhat similar. You should have gotten the training email by now

You don't need to pray because that won't happen.

The Supreme Court Bruen decision in June has already made the requirement to get a CCW easier now that good cause isn't a requirement.

The only way Luna can make it more difficult is what other local PDs are doing to put up more obstacles: increase the cost of the permit, require psychological testing, require 3 character references.

Man that's horrible service, you should be getting the call or email or whatever. I've noticed everyone is at about 2 months till the get the proceed to training. Good luck man my **** barely cleared a few days ago. Looks like I have a couple months and change to go

Followed up this morning with the CCW unit regarding next steps after Livescan and got the “we’ll contact you when needed” generic response.

At about 6 weeks in since interview so we’ll see how things pan out from here.

I submitted app in July I think. Emailed status and they finally got to it. Waiting on phone call for interview

We are all in a holding pattern and I think the Department is too waiting for direction from Luna. Anyway, I guess I will email them again...
