I just got my email. Will knock it out next week and see how long until I get my permit. Took over 3.5 months.

Never had a ticket, never been arrested, never even gave a cop a dirty look

Also I went back to last year the week of thanks giving and someone got a call on the monday of thanksgiving and a couple people picked up on that Wednesday.

Your timeline is almost identical to mine, I sent my training docs on 10-21 and they emailed me back in about an hour that they were rec'd. I wish they'd call already!

I have a rather generic question, but what did you guys use as proof of residence? Will car registration work? Or car insurance? This is what has me kind of on hinge, I want to make sure I am prepared

Wow, That's almost 8 weeks. Have they followed up? Sometimes it seems they "forget" about people

I do not believe they take car registration anymore. I originally went in with a lease agreement and they called me before picking up my permit that they could not longer accept that, and they needed a utility bill with my name on it

I'm hoping for the fast-track phone interview and processing.
Realistically though, probably looking at 6-7 months more for interview call.

I was told by the deputy that it has to be a utility bill and couldn't be a car registration or insurance. She also said if the utility was in my wife's name i could include a copy of my marriage certificate and that would work

I submitted app in July I think. Emailed status and they finally got to it. Waiting on phone call for interview

Make sure you pick up any calls. Mine came in as spam which i didn't pick up the first time and they didn't leave a message. They called me back 2 weeks later and my other buddy came in with no caller id.
