I have a question regarding the residency verification; do they still take car registration as proof of residency? I don?t have any utility bill and want to use my DL and car registration for proof of residency.

Permitium is not so much a "White Glove Service/etc" but actual online replacement of paperwork - many agencies use it to simplify their lives

I gave an alternative to a utility bill when I submitted my application. It became an issue again at the end of the process with a deputy holding setting am appointment for pick up against producing a utility bill. I didnt have one. They did accept an internet bill in the name of my wife together with a marriage certificate.

Simple answer, LASD didnt let me slide with no utility bill.

I turned mine into local station in July '22, check cashed 3 days later by local station. I was entered into the system in December '22.

Any tips for me, ya'll? Applied LASD in-person 6/22/22, check cashed 6/28/22. I know it can go a lot longer so not concerned, but would love to give it a nudge if anyone has some insight or suggestions they've tried. Thanks in advance.

You should probably be getting a call sometime June, it took me a year. It also seems like they're slowing down processing as someone mentioned people who are renewing are getting priority over new applicants.

I personally don't think emailing and calling will speed up the process. As they always just give you the generic response of "your application is received, waiting to get assigned to a deputy" or something along those lines.
