I have an interview with LASD coming up soon and I want to make sure I nail the interview.

From reading the FAQ it sounds like best approach is just to confirm everything I said and chat through my reasoning for good cause (although has this changed with the SC ruling?)

My biggest question is about marijuana usage. I recreationally (on weekends) use marijuana which is of course legal. I saw that they will ask about that and am curious if anyone has run into issues when they say that? i imagine if responsible and not abusing it, like alcohol, it won't be an issue but wanted to see if anyone knew more?

Marijuana usage is still a no no because technically you are not able to own a firearm if you are an addicted user. This is a grey area. I was honest and told them that I had used marijuana a year before applying at the time of my interview. If you are a common user and you do state that, you will be denied.
