No response but I did drop by a substation.
I was told to re-apply. After explaining that it would put me behind everyone already waiting, the gentleman said he had 200 new applications on his desk.

If every station has 200 new applications, that is nearly 5000 NEW applications.
So re-applying is likely a several year process.

I still hope that all those who were recently denied would get a call-back, like those who were denied last year prior to AV issuing for yellow GC.

The online application system that AV promised may also be started soon, expediting the process.

I'm crossing my fingers for this as well.. It's a long wait and also we already paid money for application and live scan... They expect us to repay these fees and to get back to the end of line ? I really hope not... You now I really thought law enforcement cared about us, growing up as a kid.. Now as an adult I can see that I was completely wrong. It's so sad to wake up to reality.

LEO in Uvalde care about you M1A, LASO and LAPD, not so much!!! Some think a TRO gives you effective LTC, I'm not a lawyer but as you can see I do shoot my mouth off quite a bit. Schizoaffective d/o is a very serious incurable disease. It's fashionable to let them out of jail no matter how bad they act out. Protect yourself the best you can. Make sure cops record what you tell them cause they will not want liability. I would think TRO would bring you to the front of line from my experience.

In future dealing with people with psych diagnosis threatening you. You always want a police report each time this happens. Especially if they're breaking the TRO. You want the cop to know that you are going to police station ASAP to get copy of report. They know that they're not going to do much to protect you because they don't have the staff. So they downplay the written report and shaet talk you. You got to actually go to station (I kid you not) get report and see that they reported what you told them. Use phone to record your police report. If they didn't you get watch commander and initiate formal complaint against cop who downplayed or lied about your report. The idea is someones making terrorist threats against you and I know they usually don't want to deal with it because "some MD will deal with it". You want to present these written reports dirictly to LA Licencing Division and you want the reports written as you reported. For 10 yrs I did psych evals at police stations and Emergency Departments (20 hospitals) in Orange County. Lots of folks were Meth and drug addicts with violent history and quick to make death threats. San Diego Sheriffs gave me lots of shaet and refused to give me equal treatment until I sued in Peruta. By all objective data you should be at front of line and they should be liable if they dyk with you! Mark Cleary

Does anyone know if the SSN is required? I know personal privacy people tell you that you never have to give it out except for applying for a job and taxes. I don't want to give them a reason to reject me, but if there's another leak that's something I really don't want leaked.

2 Questions (I have searched but unable to find consensus).

                      1. For an arrest that was adjudicated and expunged (prior to 18) do I need to disclose? Was told it would not show up for anyone in the future but not sure...

                      2. Is it possible to add a firearm or swap one out after being approved? Lets say I get a new pistol to carry after approval, can it be added or am I stuck with what I have on my initial application.

                      Thank you

My substation turned me away saying I needed to submit proof of livescan when submitting application. I will have to figure that part out
