Of course! I forgot the limit you can have on your application. I seen it recently on this forum. I believe it was 4 or 5 but I could be wrong.

In LA County, it's 3, and it does not matter until you go to training. It's listed on the training doc.

You guys should look online into how to file a “writ of mandamus” with a state judge (since it is a violation of state law) at the county courthouse in Martinez, IIRC. It is basically the judge ordering a government official to obey the law.

I would imagine if everyone filed that has exceeded the Statutory Time limits, the Courts would be overwhelmed and gridlocked. I get the feeling Sheriff V doesn't care if he violates it or not, nor if anyone dies of old age by the time they get to them lol. Had I remained in California, looking through the thread of late, I would be at 18 months before I see a Proceed to Training email, and probably would not be issued until after the November Elections.
