A friendly reminder to everyone that has been issued their CCW...please apply for your Arizona, Utah and Florida Non-resident permit...if you haven't done so already...it's easy to do...not expensive...and the turn around time is fairly quick...if you somewhat like to travel, they are good to have..in addition to your California CCW..

Go to the Arizona dept of public safety website and request a CCW packet..they will mail it to your house..follow the instructions and mail it back with your money order..do Utah too.. Arizona and Utah covers Nevada..I tell everyone...do both at the same time.

No you don't need to attend any classes...why?... because your California CCW Certificate and Firearms Qualifications Paper is proof of live fire training for Arizona, Utah and Florida. You already have it done !!!...just do the paperwork...the fingerprint card or cards..and pay the state fee!!

Between 30 to 60 days ..I know they are a little backlogged..when you mail it in wait about 30 days. If you don't see anything with in that time ..call them up....so far Arizona is the longest wait among the three...apply with them first..

Arizona is very behind. I mailed in my renewal 2/4/22. They started processing it 4/26/22 and it could be another 30-45 days before receipt.

Yes, it was CCW_unit@lasd.org.

I did get emails from them before so I was kinda surprised that the deputy said she needed my email address to send the training email.

Don't remember if she double-checked it during the interview but I've sent them emails since the interview.

I've called and left a voicemail twice now, 1 week apart. Still haven't heard anything back. Sent 2 more emails as well.
