How did it go my guy?

Seems like everything went well. The deputy requested that I send him more information about what equipment I carry with me, and said he will wait a week to submit my stuff. He did hand me the livescan form and said I have to do that on my own, so that's a good sign, right? I'm gonna sign up for Tap Rack Bang's training this weekend and also get my AZ and UT CCW, as well as use their on site livescan service.

I did get some info for you guys, not sure if all of it was already out there.

There are 7 deputies assigned to CCW unit, plus a Sergeant and Lieutenant. 4 deputies are handling interviews, and 3 other deputies are handling the post interview process. Not sure what role the Sergeant and Lieutenant are playing.

I would assume the post interview process would be verification of good cause documents, livescan, training docs and possibly a liaison between interviewing deputy and sergeant/lieutenant?

Very good sign that you were handed a livescan form, I had my interview two weeks ago and was told to hold off on the livescan. I'm still waiting. Happy for you!

A relative from San Bernardino advised me to use my cabin address (which I only visit maybe twice a month) because it was much easier than LA back then. This was a year ago. She said that I would have to wait a year after I changed to the cabin address because they need a year of residence.

MY interview went great, I was in and out in 10 minutes. They're super busy with all the applicants and everything.

I did disclose that I smoked MJ about 6 months ago when he had asked me and he did say that it may be a concern and I will be contacted in a few weeks. So, I'm just waiting. He directly told me to wait on the livescan.

My GC was for business purposes, I am a business owner that travels throughout Los Angeles is pretty bad areas and handle cash and confidential information of clients.
