It took them 1 week for them to issue from when I submitted my training

They sure are quick on cashing those checks. Its a pure money grab at $35.00 a pop.

I'm sure it costs them more that $35 in staff time to open your application, account for and process your check, read and log in your application and supporting documents and make a GC determination.

App submitted and received 5/6/21 by LACSD, include Training proficiency Cert, live scan and $30 check at same time. ( check has not cleared bank yet ). Only been three weeks as of now ( I know) , anyone have a guesstimate when interview call will come? Thanks for any comments. 🤙

It's taking them 2 weeks to process about 1 week of applications. The flood gates opened around the 2nd and 3rd week of April. So maybe 3 weeks for those applications.

So maybe another 12-14 weeks for 5/6 applications.

They call you with the pickup date. Mine was literally for the next day.

Holy smokes, you did your training and live scan and don't know what color your GC is?

You sure did the entire process in a strange order.

Paladin had a post which explains the GC colors, but I think when he got banned it got erased? I did a quick glance and I couldn't find it.

Someone who's not as lazy as me can find the post and link you to GC and color references.

Paladin has done an immense amount of legwork for this not only statewide but by county, I suggest you read all his posts before applying it will help you immensely.
