a question if anyone has the answer...

I just finished my interview and was directed to do my live scan. At the live scan, I was given 2 papers, one to keep, and one to turn in to the sherrifs department. Am I suppose to turn in this paper once I'm notified of my live scan is complete? Not quite sure what my next step is. Thanks.

The billing code on some live scan forms just means the agency requesting a live scan is going to pay the doj/fbi and rolling fees for the applicant.

This is not the case for a CCW. The applicant is responsible for all fees, so there is not going to be a billing code on the request for live scan form.

Anyone know the 6 digit DOJ billing number? I’m scheduling an appointment for my live scan ahead of the interview and the live scan form provided on the LASD site does not include this.

Edit: just kidding doesn’t look like it’s required for the appointment

Yes. Leave those areas blank. That is where the interviewing deputy will sign when you are called for an interview. Please take some time and read through this thread. Lots of good information that will help you along in your process. Good luck.
