I’m disappointed no one has mentioned my CCW Application Advice thread pinned at the top of the forum. Posts 1-3 are vital. Post #31 in it breaks down the CA CCW GC map and its colors. Best to devote one evening just going through that whole thread to understand what you’re undertaking.

hey paladin I'm right there with you.. I am currently helping 6 people apply, I've been spreading the word like crazy.. All the workers at angeles shooting range were informed by me lol.. I encourage woman all day long... I've seen too much and been through too much to not recommend protecting your selves at all times.. I'm the guy that will randomly give out my number and say " call me and I'll help you through it.." I was up till 4 am a few days ago helping my neighbor with his good cause statement.. I truly believe more responsible ccw holders in los angeles should slow down the crime rate.. Criminals are not used to being shot at in los angeles.. Sounds harsh and I really wish it didn't have to be this way But If they keep hurting innocent civilians,, eventually they will knock on the wrong door..

I did catch this interview. it was interesting. Don't recall but I think they mentioned that basically all you have to do is be willing to apply, do the training, be in good standing with the law and willing to be patient with all the time it is taking to process the applications and you will get the permit. They talk about this at 2:30 minutes in the video. They are making it seem like all you have to do is apply and if you are a law abiding citizen you will get it. I would take this info with a grain of salt.

I'm with you 100% on women in real estate (men too) that is my GC and I got rave reviews with the San Diego SO on my GC statement. I'm happy to help anyone with with theirs.

Do it, to be safe. The deputy I interviewed with told me to be sure to do so as sometimes the background information gets sent to an incorrect department within LASD. If they have your ATI number they can easily track it and make sure it's ends up in the right hands.

While all of you getting CCWs is great, if Villanueva doesn’t get re-elected early next June (12 months), the next sheriff probably won’t renew your CCW permits and that will be the end of that....

You LA Co people (not me, I’m in the SFBA), need to organize immediately to make sure all ranges and local gun shops (and NRA Members Councils) in and near to LA Co know LASD is issuing CCWs for Dark Red, Light Red, Yellow and Light Green GCs. Tell them there’s a lot of info and members who will help people apply on CalGuns. Spread the word online too.

Villanueva (and your CCWs) will be his most vulnerable at his first re-election campaign next year (too many Leftist haters, too few CCW supporters). Don’t leave anything to chance. Fight!!!

2) is the good cause color set my where you live on the map or by your good cause statement or combination of both? Just curious. M

My good cause was part recreational, part work and prospects of work prospect that would require ccw
