Yeah, moving out of state would be nice but my work and family are here. It would be diffiult for me to even consider that unfortunately. Congrats on the move.

So I got a phone call from 213 932 1866 today and was at work and left my phone at my station while I was orienting a new nurse. I tried calling back and got a voice.ail not identifying themselves as LASD, but I left a generic message. Does this number look familiar to anyone?

My friend, I have received so many calls ranging from the irs, fbi, extended car warranty, & ETC LOL. ALL SPAM.

Just keep picking up the calls but 99% of the time they are bull****. It would be hilarious if they started pranking people for the ccw.

Good luck in your future endeavors. I also moved out of State, had a CCW within weeks of the move. I hope those in Cali get a system that includes shall issue, and takes weeks, not months\years. I still have friends there waiting for their interviews, hoping one day....

If it's a dishonorable disharge I don't even think you an own a firearm. They treat that as a felony in most cases. If it's medical, it should be fine.

The LASD actually provides instructions on their website. They expect you to read the instructions before you apply, and they then expect you to follow the instructions. The instructions do not tell you to reapply. Do whatever the hell you want to do, but keep in mind that they do take into consideration whether you follow their instructions.

You should go back on the forum and read through the pages. People in July now are barely getting a phone all. You have to be patient.

You should wait for your interview. Now the CCW unit is still working on June or July applicants. I think in after June, the applicants are getting more and more. Cause the news broadcast Sheriff AV will issue more CCW permits.

My firearms cleared on 3-31-2022. Just waiting to get my "TRAINING" email soon hopefully.
