I just finished my interview. She asked for more documentation which I hope is a good sign, but didn’t say to proceed with live scan. Not sure if I shot myself in the foot, but when they asked about marijuana use, I said in high school over 10 years ago was the last time. Did I just ruin my chances?

I forgot to initially include a DUI from over 20 years ago and still got a proceed to training email so I wouldn't worry too much. I mentioned it in my interview and the interviewer just added it to my application.

Firearms cleared this morning. That’s 8 weeks on the dot, start to finish for livescan.

I turned in livescan and training docs at my interview a few weeks ago. Hopefully the pickup call comes soon!

I haven't visited you guys in a while since I was issued in September.

When I was last following this thread, there was a lot of uncertainty regarding whether or not "light green" rec-related GC were getting permits. For a while, a few people did get them, but in the late summer it looked like they were getting denied and LA was a "Yellow" county. Is that still the case, or are rec-related GCs being approved?

Spartan, that's a familiar name. Yeah, most of you that got issued stopped coming on the thread (and for good reason lol). So far, there hasn't really been one confirmed that has publicly stated here. The ones that have, I would consider very iffy on whether it's a LG. There was one on Reddit that claimed they got issued for LG. Nothing like before where clear cut LG's were issued.

I believe I am one of the few if not possibly the last hold over that has not received an issue or a denial yet. A year since applying and patiently waiting (and also patiently waiting for SCOTUS.)

Good to hear from you! Sorry you are stuck in purgatory. Hopefully if SCOTUS decision goes as we hope it will, you'll be at the top of the list.

I finally got notified to proceed to training 11.5 months after submitting my application and 5.5 months after completing my live scan (with work related good cause)! Does anyone have any recommended trainers near the Torrance area?

Congrats brother! 4 weeks to go for issuance after training.

I would say go to Firing Line in Huntington Beach. It's only about $150 excluding ammo and you learn a lot.

My girlfriend picked up her license today. As soon as she arrived home, she purhased a CCW Safe Policy, so shes covered.

She now has her California, Arizona and Utah CCW Permits.
She will be Applying for her FLORIDA CCW permit later on this month.

This was an exciting day for her!!!
