I was verbally told at my interview to do live scan. This Thursday will be my 3rd week, hoping I get it this week!! I went from checking my live scan status multiple times a day to now checking my email multiple times a day. LOL

01/03/22 - Livescan in advance
01/04/22 - CA/FBI Cleared
02/03/22- Firearms Cleared
02/04/22 - Call for interview
02/11/22 - Interview - advised livescan completed already, advised that's okay and wait for training email.
Today ... Still waiting on proceed to training.

My interview was on the same day as yours (Monterey Park). I got the training email on March 29. Now waiting for a call to pick up the permit.

Yes, they should. The deputy sent me an email with my interview info.

Any recent info on renewal times? Their website says 90 days before expiration, but with the long waits, I'm thinking that might be an unrealisticly short amount of time? How early can a renewal be put in?

Nobody has renewed since the process opened up and the backlog began, so we have no idea. I have also not heard anything from AV about if he is going to prioritize renewals over new applicants or are they going to have big gaps in coverage. If he does not increase his capacity, new permits are going to grind to a halt as the processing of renewals eventually absorbs a large part of his processing capacity.

i started the live scan feb 9th , firearms cleared april 7th. it took sometime.
