Got the email today to proceed to Firearms training. Since I already completed it, I emailed them back the two forms needed.

4/25/21: Mailed CCW app
5/10/21: Application received
06/9/21: $30 App Fee check Cashed
9/11/21est: Request for interview
9/30/21: Interview completed and Livescan done early w/CA and FBI completed
10/02/21: Firearms Livescan: completed
10/05/21: Emailed to officially do Livescan [6 to 8wks told for results]
11/26/21: I emailed them that 8 wks has passed
11/27/21: They emailed back “ Thank you, we will contact you when we receive your live scan results.”
1/12/22: Email to proceed with firearm training. Forms sent in reply. They replied: "You will be contacted when your file has been approved and we are ready to issue your license. The approximate wait time for this last step of the process is a minimum four (4) weeks. Thank You for your patience."

Just received my phone call and email to proceed with training. Training scheduled for Jan 30th, so hoping for a late Feb, early March pickup.

Hopefully by summer SCOTUS will make a county map unnecessary.

I'm with you 100%. May I suggest that in that happy event you two re-do the map to rate the counties on other means of obstruction such as enhanced GMC requirements, absurd delays, etc. I have every cynical expectation that in certain jurisdictions, when they can no longer deny based on GC, they will simply shift to other non-prohibited means.

Update, I received a call from a different deputy today asking for proof of my recent matches to support my GC (light green, competitive shooting).

interesting!!! I gave them plenty of printouts of me competing, scores, pics, etc...

I'm still waiting for a response if I can train or not.. This is insane how long they have kept me waiting.. Check out my timeline.

I thought 2022 was bringing me a denial letter, was very surprised to get this call. Considering I interviewed 6 months ago! I'll post if I hear anything back.

got my CCW several months ago. rocking the T1C holster AIWB. glock 43.
police are waking up to the true danger levels out there, good piece of mind.

So true! The interviewing deputy will eventually call you for the interview appointment. Sadly, It will be a while.

Let's see how far I get. Yellow is more because of my wife than me.

1/13/2022 Interviewed. Went OK. Asked me more about my work-related GC and was told to get Livescanned. Said it could take 3-4 months to hear about proceeding with CCW Classes

Interview was OK. I wasn't prepared as much as I should have been but I, honestly, wasn't thinking. Past year sucked so ain't at my A game. lol. The wait continues....

They just wanted me to explain my GC. Yes/no questions where basically same as what was on app.
