Got the call for an interview today.
Not so good news:
Late September interview date.GC = Light Red (Business Owner)
09-08-2023: Renewal application submitted to online portal. (https://lasd.permitium.com/ccw/start)
10-21-2023: Recv'd phone call (Unknown Caller) to go over application.
10-26-2023: Recv'd email to proceed with firearm training.
11-04-2023: 4 hour CCW renewal course complete, docs uploaded to portal.
11-19-2023: Recv'd email to schedule an appointment to pick up CCW permit.
11-28-2023: Pick up renewed CCW permit.Comment

I mean you have to figure that a CCW here has been impossible for 30 years(or something like that), I think the population at large is simply not aware at all.
I'm only aware because I decided to check out some CalGuns threads one day

Me too. There’s what, 13 million in LA County? That number is crazy low. People really don't know about it, though. I was chatting about it the gun club I belong to a week a go and no one there knew about it.

Nice! Interesting, the in the hopper line has been in a downtrend since around the middle of June. Assuming these are the pepes who have been called for interview, etc., it may support the reports that the CCQ squad is being downsized??Comment
