He requested more paperwork proving USPSA matches and paperwork proving the value of the items we transport throughout LA.

All of that was on his GC statement since i read it before he sent it.

At first all they wanted was the business taxes and cert. weird

I think my experiences are totally based on me getting a manager or supervisor of the unit to help process applications. Fingers crossed.

Nerve wracking. With all of the crime in LA and literally 10 mass shootings a day in the USA, I really hope I get the privilege, to earn a LA county CCW license. I will be drinking cold beer after work at home tonight. and I wont get into any altercations with my neighbors or drive drunk!

                  us calgunners

There are thousands of applications..Only a few of us on calguns so I'm sure it's not us backing up anything.. Most likely the thousands of others are the ones calling and emailing. So we should post of up signs in our neighborhoods to stop emailing them lol....

tuesday will be 6 wks since I took my live scan. Still waiting on that call/email.

Hey guys, please put your timelines in your signature blocks so everyone has immediate context for comments.

In the upper left corner click on User CP.

In the next screen see he Settings and Options in the left hand menu, find and select Edit Signature below it.

Type your timeline in and save it. Then your timeline will automatically show up whenever you post a comment. You can also go back to Edit Signature as the timeline evolves. Such as when you get “the call” for interview or pick-up.

                    Thanks!!!

Next applicant going in for an interview please ask how we can help Sheriff Villanueva hire more people to help process CCW applications and let us know their response.

The problem with that is that the volunteer themselves would have access to the police/sheriff database and not only that, they would have access to applicant's personal information including addresses phone numbers, and for business owners, their routines and schedules stated in their GC. That is a lot of sensitive information and the volunteer would really need to pass an extensive background check to be qualified. Maybe only retired LEO's can do that but regular joes' can't

Not sure where you guys got the idea of us volunteering, I said to find how we can help AV *hire* more people (LEO and/or non) for the CCW Unit. I was thinking more a long the lines of should LA Co CGNers call each of the Board of Supervisors or put political pressure somewhere else? somehow else?

But first we need to know what is causing the bottleneck, what’s the limiting factor/s.
